How far along? 24 weeks, 2 days
Baby’s size: around 13.5 inches long and about 1.5 pounds
Total weight gain: 17 pounds. No idea if it’s accurate or not that I gained 3 pounds since last week. I’ve been eating so healthy and I’ve been so active. Hopefully the gain will slow down soon!
Clothes: Striped jersey dress from Old Navy. AG Adriano Goldschmied denim jacket from Saks Fifth Avenue (non-maternity).
Workouts – Last week (Mar 31 – April 6):
  • 1 hour spin class
  • 2-3 hour house moving session. Everything had to be moved out of the way for the new floors! I tackled all of the small stuff.
  • 1 hour spin class
  • 1 hour prenatal yoga
  • 1 hour spin class
Symptoms: Crazy heartburn after having a ginger & lemon Tazo tea. Then I got it again after eating a Chipotle vegetarian burrito bowl. Hopefully this isn’t an everyday thing now!
Movement: Kicking all-the-time. On Sunday I think the baby was awake all day!
What I’m eating: My yogurt, banana, blueberries and granola bowls. Smoothies. I even made a dessert smoothie last week with regular milk, banana, ice and Justins hazelnut chocolate butter. Kiwi fruit. Still loving Diced sweet potatoes baked in coconut oil. Still loving scrambled eggs with plenty of Herdez salsa. I haven’t wanted pork of any kind since I’ve been pregnant but I had the best bone-in grilled pork chop a few days ago! We also grill a steak once a week…sometimes flat iron or flank steak…sometimes Travis will get a big T-bone and we share it (I always buy all-natural grass fed beef and still enjoy it mid-rare).
Drinking: Water. Unsweetened iced tea with lemon. Zevia ginger ale. Nepresso decaf coffee.
Last week: I moved on from having flooring estimates to having painting estimates. We had a total of 5! Trying to make a decision! Wednesday I had lunch with friends Teresa and Chris at Firebirds. I hadn’t seen them since November and there was so much catching up to do! Friday night we hung out with Laura and Scott, our old neighbors from Richmond. We had dinner and heard some live music. Saturday we celebrated Easter at my sister Angela’s house. I made a spiral ham and a vanilla cake with vanilla cream cheese icing (I only had 1 piece…that can’t be the reason for the 3 pounds!). We also had deviled eggs, cole slaw, veggie tray, crab dip and rolls.
Looking forward to: My next baby check up appointment is Monday of next week. One more monthly appointment after that, then I move to going every 2 weeks.
